Live workshop — GBS Experience, Cartagena 2026

The "AI in Action: Real Cases for Shared Services Centers / BYOD" workshop, part of GBS Experience by BPrO (Cartagena, 2026), in front of a C-level executive audience from the shared services centers of major companies across the region.

It wasn't a slide deck: it was a live demonstration of how generative AI works in the areas where there is no code —finance, HR, operations— using Claude and Codex.

The core idea

Generative AI isn't only for technical teams. Non-code areas can adopt it with real impact; the challenge isn't the tool, but how to roll it out well and securely without an engineering team behind it.

What I showed live

  • AI-assisted finance insights: from scattered data to an actionable read, in minutes.
  • HR and operations cases: repetitive and document-heavy tasks handled by assistants.
  • A layered adoption approach —from corporate identity down to each role— so every area uses only what it needs.
  • The part almost no one covers: governance and security —protecting secrets, controlling access and actions— the real differentiator over "just giving them the chat."

What they took home

A reproducible, open-source kit in Spanish for adopting AI in the enterprise, with a track dedicated to business (non-technical) areas: claude-guide.

AI applied well to non-code areas doesn't replace people: it takes away the repetitive work and gives back time for what actually drives the business.
